SalesHero is best suited for both sales leaders and sales reps.
For sales reps, SalesHero enhances the efficiency of sales reps by automating tasks like note-taking and CRM updates, allowing sales reps to focus on building stronger customer relationships. With SalesHero, reps can engage in higher-quality conversations, spend more time selling, and never miss important follow-ups. The platform simplifies collaboration by turning key call moments into shareable clips for stakeholders, ensuring everyone stays aligned.
For sales leads, SalesHero helps sales leads achieve revenue goals by reducing time reps spend on CRM tasks and enabling them to track their team’s progress. Its AI-powered dynamic coaching and scorecards offer personalised coaching tailored to each rep, improving team performance. The platform accelerates sales onboarding, making training up to three times faster.

Choose to sign up manually using your email by clicking the Sign Up Here hyperlink at the bottom of the screen or via Google Sign In^ directly by clicking on the Continue with Google button.
Enter your details (email and password) and click Next.
Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account.
2.2 Logging In for the First Time
Once your account is activated, you will be directed to the Internal Knowledge page where you will find all your recorded meetings.
2.3 Password Recovery
You can reset your password under your Account Settings or via the login page anytime.
2.4 Important Notes
^We currently only support Google Sign In to create new accounts. For paid seat users, we will prompt you to connect your Google Calendar so that you can sync all your meetings into SalesHero.io. The Primary Workspace Owner will be able to invite and assign the paid seat Editor users. There are unlimited invites for free seat Viewer users who just want to login to consume the content within SalesHero.io.
The application’s Content Language cannot be changed currently after setup, so please select the language that you want to see the content delivered in.
Your Platform Language can be changed whenever, where necessary, under your Account Settings
3. Navigating SalesHero.io for the First Time
Upon logging in, the screen that you first will be directed to is the Internal Knowledge page. Here’s a quick overview of what you’ll see:
Main Navigation Menu: Located on the left side of the screen, this collapsible menu allows you to access your projects, calendar, meetings, recordings, playbooks, tasks, analytics and project settings
Platform Usage Quota Limits: Directly below the main navigation menu you will see your usage quota limits. This allows you to easily monitor your application usage quota, and note when it’s time for an upgrade 😜
Account Settings: Click here to access settings like password reset, account details, platform language selection
Internal Knowledge Page: The central area shows a list of all your current recordings
4. Custom Fields Setup/Configuration in Project Settings
One of the key features of SalesHero.io is being able to setup the AI prompts and outputs to suit your organisation’s unique needs.
Get started by setting up your Project with custom fields that are unique to your organisation by heading over to Project Settings. Below are quick overviews about each custom field available:
Custom Field Manager: Custom fields are used to organise the descriptive details in your Meetings and Knowledge Sources
Source Types: Source Types are used to define your different types of Meetings and Knowledge Sources. You can think of them as file types.
Takeaway/Extraction Types: Takeaway/Extraction Types are used to define the different types of insights that AI has generated or the ones you have highlighted in the meeting transcript. Examples include Churn Signal, Pain Point, Objection Handling
AI Shortcuts: AI Shortcuts are used to quickly execute tasks via AI. Users can define the type of action they want AI to carry out and save it under the AI Shortcuts settings for future usage
5. Core Features Overview
5.1 Calendar and Meeting Bot
Once you have connected your Google Calendar and given the permissions, all of your meetings will be displayed in SalesHero.io. As a result, SalesHero.io’s AI Bot will be automatically joining all the meetings that are on your calendar.
In the case you do not want SalesHero.io’s AI Bot to join your meetings, you can head over to the Calendar tab in SalesHero.io, to toggle OFF for any meetings that you want SalesHero.io’s AI Bot to not join.In the case you change your mind, you can always toggle ON again.
5.2 Meetings
Once a meeting has been recorded, it will appear under the Meetings tab. You will be able to view the meetings conducted by any Editor in your workspace. Below is a quick overview of what you’ll see in a Meeting page:
Details: Access the custom fields data that you have assigned for the meeting
Recap Notes: Access recap notes from the meeting in this section. You can customise the format of the Recap Notes according to your preference
Ask AI: Utilise this powerful feature to make use of AI to retrieve information quickly from your meeting
Tasks: Create and assign tasks to any of your team members on SalesHero.io to ensure no customer follow-up touchpoints are dropped. You can set a deadline to keep track of the tasks
Notes and Clips: Access key takeaways and highlights from the meeting here
5.3 Playbooks
With SalesHero.io, you can easily transform your video clips, by creating Clip Notes, adn compile them into Playbooks and Talk Track reels. Use these to quickly share best practices and successful strategies with your entire team, helping them stay aligned and effective.
5.4 Analysing Sales Calls
Understand your call metrics at a glance with SalesHero.io’s AI-powered analysis. Get real-time Call Scoring and identify key trends and patterns that can help you improve performance. Leverage these insights to refine your approach and close more deals.

In addition to gathering insights from recorded video calls using SalesHero.io’s meeting bot, you can also upload your own video or audio files by following these steps:
Upload Your Files: Use the Internal Knowledge tab on the main navigation menu to upload your internal knowledge sources. SalesHero.io supports the transcription and summarization of audio files. You can upload up to four files simultaneously.
Access Your Knowledge Source: Once uploaded, open your knowledge source to generate insights via the following methods:
Extractions: Allow SalesHero.io to generate insights automatically from your knowledge source.
Takeaways: Manually highlight portions of the transcript to create custom insights.
Sanity Check on Extractions: Review the AI-generated extractions and make any necessary edits to ensure accuracy.
Generate an Analysis Report: Finally, compile your findings by creating an analysis report that includes the extractions and takeaways from your relevant knowledge sources.
7. User Management
To effectively manage your team in SalesHero.io, follow these steps:
Access Roles and Permissions: Navigate to Account Settings at the bottom of the main navigation bar. Here, you can select Roles and Permissions to modify the permission roles of any users in your workspace.
Invite Coworkers: To invite a new team member, click the + button next to your Project Title. You can choose to invite them as either a paid Editor role or a free Viewer role.
Editor Role: Users with this role can sync their calendars, upload files, and create items within SalesHero.io.
Viewer Role: This role allows users to view project details but restricts them from making changes.
